Overview
Blue Nest Montessori's Aldershot branch is the conversion of an existing site into a full Montessori nursery school, built to the standards Ofsted and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework require. We delivered the whole project, from the interior fit-out to the exterior, garden and forest-school area, in exactly one month.
Inside, the rooms were reworked around the Montessori approach: low, open shelving, natural timber furniture, calm neutral finishes, reading nooks and child-height sinks and toilets. Outside, the site gained a fenced garden with artificial lawn and a covered canopy, a bark-surfaced play and forest-school area with swings, tunnels and climbing frames, and new entrance signage.
Our solution
One team ran every trade in parallel: safeguarding-led layout, EYFS-compliant finishes and fixtures indoors, while the garden, canopy, fencing and forest-school area were built outside.
The outcome
Handed over complete in one month, with every space, from the baby room to the forest school, finished to Ofsted and EYFS standards and ready to open.
